Quick FAQ

Common questions about Synthetik save.sav, unlock lines, prestige, and replacing your save safely.

Which file should I upload?: Upload save.sav from %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Synthetik\ — copy it somewhere safe first (e.g. save.sav copy).
Do I need to close the game?: Yes. Fully quit Synthetik before replacing save.sav. For daily-run and cheat resets, close the game, edit, save, then launch again.
What does “Unlock all items & perks” change?: It sets locked tunlock_obj_item / tunlock_obj_perk lines (negative values in the guide) to 1.000000 and activates tactive_obj_perk rows where needed. It does not change loadout slots unless you use the class loadout section.
Can I swap class cores and starter items?: Yes — perkslot0class## (core) and perkslot3class## (starter item) can be edited per class row. Any unlocked obj_perk / obj_item id from your save can be typed or selected; cores and items from other classes follow the same key format as in community guides.
